Hi Anglers!
The fishing in the Gulf of Mexico remains good, still catching Snook, Cobia, and Permit. Tarpon fishing is getting stronger and stronger; they are in the channels leading from the Gulf of Mexico into Florida Bay and Florida Bay into the Atlantic. Offshore the Mahi-Mahi bite is hit and miss, unfortunately, more miss than hit, as we near the month of June we hope the Mahi-Mahi bite to strengthen as well. The Sailfish are still biting very well for nearing the end of spring. The mutton snapper bite on the deeper wrecks is starting to really light up as we are nearing the time when they spawn. We are currently recommending guest to book six hour trips that depart around 7:30am, these six hour trips allow Capt. Ron to get out to some nice spots in the Gulf of Mexico that we couldn’t get to in a four hour trip. We are looking forward to getting you out on the water!
