Hi Anglers,
Sam here with your early November Reef fishing report. With the time changes brings darkness at an earlier hour, this enables us to get in all the awesome night time reef fishing without staying out super late. We have been catching Mangrove, Yellowtail, Mutton, and Groupers. Freelining 12lb monofilament with a 1/16oz or 1/32oz yellowtail jig has proven promising for those big winter Yellowtail Snapper. Sending a chunk of Ballyhoo on a long shank 2/0 j-hook with a 1/4oz lead to the bottom can spark a Grouper, Mangrove, or Mutton bite. You can find these delicious saltwater species on most patch reefs in the Islamorada area. Just find some coral heads and drop your anchor in the water and hopefully catch some of these Islamorada natives. Call today to book your reef trip today. (305)896-1507 or (305)896-3159
